Helping Leaders See What Others Miss
For over 25 years, James Jeffley has taught thousands of people across four continents—helping them see more clearly, ask deeper questions, and create better futures. From project management to public speaking, decision-making to team building, the through-line has always been the same: elevating consciousness to create better futures.

An Unexpected Calling
James didn't set out to become a leadership consultant. His path into this work began with an ad on the side of a building.
In the late 1990s, he answered that ad for an international training and seminar company. What started as a job became a vocation. He discovered he could teach—not just content, but transformation. He could help people see differently, think more clearly, solve problems that had vexed them for years.
But something deeper was emerging.
Influenced by Dr. David Hawkins' groundbreaking work Power vs. Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior, James began exploring how consciousness shapes everything: leadership, decision-making, organizational culture, personal effectiveness.
He saw the through-line. The professional development work he did in organizations, the coaching he added around 2000, the training programs he designed—it was all connected. Teaching became his calling. Elevating consciousness through personal and professional development became his mission.
His path hasn't been linear. Associate Buyer at Payless in the 80s and 90s. Multi-Market Training Manager at CompUSA in the late 90s and early 2000s. Musician throughout (since college and earlier). Business owner. Minister. Author. Coach. Trainer.
Each piece seemed disparate at the time. Only recently has he begun to see they're all part of the same quilt—a life built on connection, consciousness, and helping others see what they couldn't see before.
Since 1997, James has designed and delivered professional development programs for organizations across four continents—from Fortune 500 companies to government agencies, tech giants to healthcare systems and non-profits. BART, Google, Kaiser Permanente, Genentech, Cisco, the US Postal Service, Lawrence Berkeley National Labs, and dozens more have trusted him to help their leaders think more clearly, diagnose more accurately, and act with greater consciousness.
Not because he has all the answers. But because he knows how to help people find theirs.

Consciousness as the Foundation
At the heart of James's work is a simple belief: consciousness shapes everything.
Influenced by Dr. David Hawkins' Power vs. Force, James understands that how we show up—the level of awareness we bring to problems, relationships, and decisions—determines what we can see, what we can solve, and who we can become.
His "superpower" isn't a credential or a framework. It's the ability to see connections others miss—to recognize patterns across seemingly disparate things, to help leaders elevate their awareness so they can diagnose more accurately and act more consciously.
Whether he's teaching project management, facilitating change leadership, or coaching executives, the underlying question is always the same: How can we see more clearly so we can act more wisely?
His mission: Help people UP! their lives through the elevation of their consciousness and actions.
James doesn't claim to have all the answers. But he knows how to help people ask better questions, think at higher levels, and lead with greater awareness.
That's the work. That's the calling.
